Got questions? We've got answers.
Here's everything you need to know about working with us.
For emergency and last-minute cover, our standard is 60 minutes from the moment you call to a worker walking through your door. That applies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year — including bank holidays and Christmas Day. For pre-booked shifts, workers are confirmed and briefed well ahead of time. You'll receive the worker's name and expected arrival time in advance — no last-minute uncertainty on your side.
Yes. Our phone line is answered by a real person around the clock — nights, weekends, bank holidays, and every shift of the year. You will never reach a voicemail when you call us with an urgent need. If you call at 3am on Christmas morning, a member of our team picks up
Yes — every single worker, without exception. Before any worker is deployed to a client site for the first time, we check and verify: • Right-to-work documents (original documents, examined in person or via live video call) • Photo ID • Employment references (minimum two, contacted and verified) • Sector experience and role suitability • DBS check where the role requires it All documentation is held securely on file for the duration of the working relationship plus two years, and is available to you on request. We never deploy a worker whose right-to-work has not been fully verified.
Orizon employs every worker we supply. Always. Your business is never the legal employer. Workers are engaged by Orizon Group Ltd on PAYE — which means we are responsible for their wages, National Insurance, holiday pay, sick pay, pension contributions, and all employment administration. Your accounts team receives one clean weekly invoice from us. Nothing else. This matters because it means your business carries none of the employment liability, tax risk, or HR burden associated with the workforce we supply.
No. Because every Orizon worker is directly employed by us on PAYE — not operating through a personal service company or umbrella — IR35 does not apply to our standard deployments. The off-payroll working rules are simply not triggered. Your HMRC, EAS, and employment tribunal exposure sits with Orizon, not your business. This is one of the key reasons operators choose a direct-employment agency model over platforms that use self-employed or umbrella workers.
The Agency Workers Regulations 2010 (AWR) give agency workers the right to the same basic pay and working conditions as comparable permanent employees — after 12 continuous weeks in the same role with the same client. Orizon tracks every placement from day one. You will receive an alert from us at Week 10 — before the entitlement triggers — so there are no surprise obligations or backdated costs. We manage the process on your behalf. AWR compliance is our responsibility, not yours.
We supply vetted, PAYE-employed temporary staff across four sectors: • Hospitality — kitchen porters, chefs, chef de partie, FOH, baristas, bar staff, banqueting teams • Hotels & Venues — housekeeping, F&B;, conference support, banqueting brigades • Retail — sales floor, stockroom, till operators, visual merchandising • Warehouse & Logistics — pickers, packers, FLT-licensed operators, goods-in/out, line operatives Each sector has its own specialist account team. If your operation spans more than one sector, you work with a single point of contact at Orizon who coordinates across all of them
